About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily I've been a registered nurse for just over six years and spent just over a year of that in private duty pediatric home health caring for a medically complex little one. I'm still in touch with the family to this day and am so proud of the growth he's made, but alas I moved states and he graduated from needing an in home nurse. Outside of my nursing career I've been babysitting off and on since high school. My first job ever was in the church nursery where we watched over little ones weeks after birth to age 5. But I'm more than comfortable with all age of children. I believe in spending time playing and interacting with kiddos in my care, there's balance in fun babysitters and following the house rules. My goal is to provide both with every interaction. Also Given my medical background I know how to respond quickly and calming should an emergency arise while caring for your child.
