About Emily

Hi, my name is Emily. I am attending UNA for my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Availability can be flexible except for classes 3x a week in the evenings. I have a bachelors in Psychology which include many child development courses and behavioral psychology courses. Along with my education I have participated in an internship with the Head Start Program (a pre-k program for low income families) and have had experience analyzing children's skills & social emotional development and participating in a classroom setting with the children playing and learning together. Along with this I currently work as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and provide Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA Therapy) to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. I currently work with kids ages 2-12 but have most of my experience with 2-6-year-olds. I am well versed in providing a fun, learning, and safe environment for children to grow in.
