About Emily

Hi there, my name is Emily and I'm an enthusiastic and creative 24-year-old! I am a senior at SOU for creative writing and education. My favorite age groups are toddlers, but as a big sis to 5 kiddos, I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a full-time position, with a minimum of a six-month commitment, and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. I have previously worked for 1 family with 2 kids for 18 months. I am trained in first-aid and CPR (not certified), have my own car, and have taken psych courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow. I love doing crafts, playing instruments, baking, pretend play, and going on nature outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may face, as well as enforce house rules. In my personal time I love to sing, write poetry, and spend time with my family and 2 cats. I can't wait to meet you!
