Hi! I am a country girl who moved back to PA from the big city of Dallas who loves kids, older people and animals. My roommate and I share a zoo that consists of three dogs, four reptiles, a fish and a cat. I have been volunteering with children of various ages for over half my life, many of those years include teaching. I love helping kids see the beauty in the world around them and in what they are learning. I am patient, fun loving and imaginative. My grandparents and their friends are some of my favorite people on the planet. I'm a good conversationalist and a better listener. I have always been an 'old soul' and enjoy pouring into those whom society has forgotten. My life has always and will always include animals. I have done everything to basic dog training to caring for exotics to rehabbing wildlife. I believe that every person and every creature made by God deserves respect and tender love and care and I would love to give it to them.

Emily took amazing care of our 2 cats, an 8 month-old pitbull/terrier-mix puppy and our 3 year-old pitbull while we were out of the country for 10 days. We do not have children and our usual pet sitters were unavailable so it was stressful finding someone to come into our home-ESPECIALLY with a PUPPY. Emily came multiple times a day, spent extended amount of time with them and sent us daily updates, letting us know our critters were safe and happy. Our flight got cancelled on our way home and she made special accommodations to ensure our pets were cared for, even outside of her normal times. Although cute, our puppy was a little monster and escaped his playpen a few times (all due to MY incorrect setting up of his pen) which resulted in the loss of a few books being chewed. She was super kind in ordering replacements for them (which she did not need to do and we reimbursed her for). I will happily hire her again and HIGHLY recommend her!
