I just completed my MS degree in primatology in Washington state and I am moving back to LA by the end of August. While I get reestablished, I would love to help out your family with homeschooling and/or childcare during these crazy pandemic times. Before attending graduate school I worked for several years in informal science education with students of all ages at the LA County Outdoor Science School (ages 9-13) in Malibu, the LA Zoo (all ages), and a zoo in Kansas (all ages, primarily 6-9). I have also worked as an assistant in a daycare (ages 2-5) and have nannied for two siblings: a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. I'd be happy to help implement curriculum, take your kids on some outdoor adventures to give them something active to do while still maintaining social distancing, and help in housework. If desired, my dog Mud (Boston terrier mix) can come along with me as an added bonus :)
