After teaching for the past 2. 5 years in a public and homeschool setting, I am looking to expand my business as an after-school tutor, which means I will have availability during the day. I am hoping to find a nanny or homeschool position during the morning and early afternoon. I love working in a one-on-one setting, and developing personalized lesson plans for my students. I have passed all of the State of Florida Teachers Certification Exams (FTCE) for Pre-K - 3rd grade. I have teaching and tutoring experience in grades Pre-K - 7th grade. I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, creative, and compassionate teacher who leads my tutoring sessions with all of my students with joy, equity, patience, and passion for their unique needs. As a nanny, I have worked with families with children as infants up to 12 years old. Emily did an amazing job while we stayed in Puerto Rico for a month. She took excellent care of our 2 girls, aged 7 months, and 2 years old. She jumped right in and became an integral part of our family. Emily treated and loved our children as if they were her own. The huge smile on our 7 month olds face every morning when she walked in speaks volumes about her care and compassion. She is genuinely a good and kind person. We were all sad to say goodbye to her when we left.
