About Emily

I have always loved children, and I am able to build relationships with kids quickly and easily. In high school, I would watch my neighbor's kids on occasion, and while the pay was nice, I mostly loved the experience. In college, I pursued a degree in electrical engineering. After graduation, I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do. I started working at a doggie daycare where I was in charge of 40+ large, active dogs each day. I found that I loved the opportunity to care for the animals, and I loved the leadership role that I found myself in. The fast pace and high level of responsibility felt like a perfect fit for me! After my son was born, I decided to transition into full-time childcare. For the past two years, I have been watching kids in my home during work hours from Monday to Friday.
