About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I am a passionate childcare provider with four years of experience caring for children of all ages. My goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of the children I care for by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. I am known for my patient and calm demeanor, as well as my creativity and imagination. I believe that play is an essential part of childhood development, and I love to engage children in outdoor sports, physical games, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and follow the parents' lead in this regard. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's day, either verbally at pickup or via text or phone call, depending on their preference. I am happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I am also First Aid and CPR certified!
