About Emily

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, and compassionate I like working with kids because their imagination and creativity inspires me to view the world with a sense of wonder. I started working with kids when I was 14 at the Penfield department of recreation as a swim lesson instructor. I went on to CSM to be an assistant counselor. My tutoring experience for math and science began at 17 and continued through college. In my spare time, I like to watch nature documentaries, exercise, play with my dogs, and do arts & crafts. One thing you should know about me is I am a hardworking, determined, and organized recent college graduate. I majored in Biology with a minor in Communication and advanced Marine Biology research. I also love all kinds of art & will be featured in my first science publication as an artist this spring. My skills include staying to a schedule, making fun out of any situation, and assisting in teaching of math and/or science subjects.
