About Emily

Hi families! My name is Emily and I am currently a graduate student at Adelphi University. I got my undergraduate degree in sociology and child and family studies. I am currently getting my master's in physical education and teaching. I have a lot of experience working with children in schools, camps, and outside work! I am the type of person who loves to stay busy. If your children have tons of energy, I am here to match their energy! I'd describe my personality as funny, supportive, caring. I like working with kids because they love being celebrated, even if it's for the smallest accomplishment. I'm looking for an after-school position that is consistent as I will be student teaching in the spring from 8-3:15 every day. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, hang out with my friends, go to coffee shops, and watch movies! One thing you should know about me is I played basketball in college, so if any of your kids like sports, I would love to play with them!
