Hi my name is Emily and I am a current college student. I am studying biology in the pre med track for orthopedic surgery. I have 3 years of experience with teens who have had Asperger's, Down syndrome, or different cognitive development delays in a class I helped out in during my high school curriculum. I also have had experience with my cousin who is on the spectrum. We taught him sign language as a baby, and I work with him on his school work and speech to this day. I have experience with people who have mobility issues as well. I worked in a physical therapy unit for people who had strokes or other neurological occurrences. I helped with mobility, did exercises, and helped getting back to daily chores and needs.
