About Emily

Hi parents and student, my name is Emily. I am 21 years old. I have 3 years of tutoring experience. But I wasn't always the tutor, my freshman year of high school I struggled with school. So I reached out to my school counselors and went to tutoring. After tutoring I became a completely different student I was able to keep up with my assignments, comprehend what I was learning, and learned how to be more prepared for tests. After tutoring I wasn't struggling in school anymore and actually enjoyed attending school much more. I also really took control of my own education and I found this passion for sharing the same tips I learned from my tutor. I spend the next years of my high school education tutoring and I absolutely love seeing a student really thrive in their learning environment. I specifically tutor in English/Language Arts, History, Middle School Science and Test Prep.
