Hello, my name is Emily! I love working with kids and have done so at a preschool! I have been a co-lead teacher in an infant classroom where I was responsible for the care and development of up to 8 infants aged 6 weeks to 1 year. I also have experience as an assistant teacher in a room with emerging toddlers aged 18-24 months as well as a classroom with up to 20 children aged from 4-5 years! I have also been a nanny for a 2 and 4-year-old. I have had a year of nursing school specializing in pediatrics but have missed caring for children in a caregiver role! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement, confidence building, independence, and learning! I love teaching and I bring my experience as a preschool teacher into nannying to prepare them for school.

Emily has worked with us for a few months and is a wonderful nanny to our 2 and 4 year old daughters! We have absolutely loved her gentle, patient approach, and she's always willing to jump in and go above and beyond. We would absolutely re-hire, and when she goes, we will surely miss her!
