Hello! I hold an elementary education teaching credential and a master's in education. I enjoy helping children stay engaged by keeping their minds and hands busy! I am happy to help with homework or projects. I work as a math intervention teacher during the school year, serving students in grades 4th-8th. I have previous experience working with students of all ability levels, K-12. I have also previously worked managing soccer programs for kids ages 2-14, and I have therefore been background-checked through multiple city recreation departments and school districts. Before COVID, I volunteer to coach for a girls' soccer team in West Covina and am background-checked with them as well. My apologies, but I am only comfortable caring for children ages 4 and up.

After being nervous of hiring a babysitter for my 2 children, I felt at ease when Emily was able to answer all my concerns. Emily is sweet, amazing, warm, loving, caring, and joyful! It is hard for my children to open up to other sitters but ever since they were introduced to Emily, they always ask me when they will see her again. Emily has built a strong friendship with my children and I am able to trust her anytime I need a babysitter. She is always the first person to pop into my mind when friends, family or peers need a babysitter and I always highly recommend her!
