Hi, my name is Emily. I have been in the child care industry for 7 years now ! My start was with a company. It was extremely rewarding and honestly the best 4 years working for them. I've also worked through third party agency for an additional 2 years working with infants - 10 years of age. I have had the chance to build long lasting connections with each family that I have been given the opportunity to work for. I like to consider myself a big kid, as my friends would call it. I constantly find myself involved in the interests of the kids that I sit for whether it be sports, books, arts n crafts, cartoons, etc. I am an artist so it will be in everything I do while involved with your child. We can sing , dance , paint or I can do all those things while your precious child giggles. Last, but certainly not least, I will always make sure to keep your kid(s) safe and will ensure that we will have a blast!

Our kids absolutely adore Emily. While she exudes a calm demeanor, she’s a big kid at heart. She’ll get down on the floor to play trains with my oldest. For their allotted media time, she will also play Minecraft with the two of them. She takes them to the park, swim class, basketball class, and the library. As an after school sitter, her responsibilities include picking them up from the bus, cleaning out lunchboxes, laundry, overseeing homework, making dinner (for two boys susceptible to dairy, egg and peanut allergies), tidying up (to our high standards), and running an occasional errand. She is also consistently on time (or early), and is quite flexible with her schedule, which has been a blessing for us. She is very open to constructive feedback, so communication is easy with her. Moreover, she has a good heart, is trustworthy, and honest. She also adheres to our parenting philosophies, and will alert us if one of them is having a tough, emotional day. We highly recommend Emily!
