About Emily

I've been in childcare for six years, having worked as a preschool teacher, nanny, and camp counselor! I'm an honors biology (premed) student taking time off to support myself. I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on them. I've worked with all ages, from infants to preteens, and I have experience caring for up to six children at once (without help). I'm certified in First Aid and CPR/AED, as well Utah childcare licensing service training. My approach to childcare is creative and development driven. I love to engage children in physical activities such as hiking and outdoor play, as well as imaginative activities like arts and crafts. I'm always looking for educational ways to promote learning catered to a child's age. I'm comfortable enforcing family rules and believe in open communication with parents to ensure that their children are safe and happy. I'm happy to provide daily written report cards to share what we learn/do each day!
