About Emily

I'd describe my personality as responsible, bubbly, and creative. I am excellent at managing children based on my work experience. I love to be goofy and don't take myself too seriously. I like working with kids because I love learning from them, being there for them as a trusted mentor, and boosting their confidence. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build a relationship with a child. I have the love and energy to impact a child. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a babysitter. After college I taught 1st-12th grade Spanish for 2 years. I am also currently involved with after school care and sports programs. In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, read, run, take hikes and spend time in nature. I also play piano, guitar, and love to sing. One thing to know about me is I'm an emotional person. I am moved easily and deeply. So expect tears if you do something nice for me! My skills include being adaptable, quick on my feet, and willing to get messy!
