About Emily

My name is Emily. I am 25, and I have a 4-year-old daughter. In my spare time, I like to paint, read, and be outside. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education through the University of North Georgia. I have nannied for several families and babysat for my nieces and nephews and friends children. I love teaching and working with children of all ages. Building strong relationships with each child is important to me. I hope you will consider letting me be a part of your support system. I started working with kids when I was 16 by babysitting my nieces and nephews. I worked in a preschool classroom while getting my teaching degree at 21. Then I worked full time as a special education and fifth grade general education teacher. My skills include staying patient with children as they learn to regulate their emotions. I am qualified to tutor children. I am able to care for children with various ranges of abilities.
