About Emily

I have worked with children in a variety of fields; as a tutor, nanny, teacher, Behavioral Interventionist, and sports instructor. Throughout my time working with kids, I've found what is most important is to engage with them enthusiastically and find learning opportunities whenever possible. I love setting up art activities, baking, playing sports, spending time outdoors, imaginary play, reading and story telling. I've worked with all ages from 1-14 and have well over a decade of experience. I'm currently a teacher at The Grammar School in Putney, VT where I work in both the preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. I really love the work I do but will be here seeking summer work and occasional gigs. I also have experience with cleaning, organizing, and house sitting. I absolutely love animals and have my own sweet 7-year-old Australian Shepherd Ollie.
