About Emily

I am 39 years old, and have around 15 years of experience working with kids and adults with special needs. I have experience working with people with autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, PTSD, ADHD, and schizophrenia. I started by working as a paraprofessional at a middle school for four years. After that, I was hired at an autism clinic and was trained in ABA therapy, later becoming a Registered Behavioral Technician. I've worked in home, in the community, and in clinical settings with kids and adults with a wide range of physical & developmental disabilities. I also have extensive experience working with people who are non-verbal or mostly non-verbal, and with people with abhorrent behaviors. I have a flexible schedule and am looking for something part time. I also love animals, so dog walking or other pet activities are welcome also!
