About Emily

I've always had a passion for caring for children, which I discovered while babysitting throughout high school. I have 5 years of experience as a childcare provider, and I'm comfortable looking after up to four children at a time. I'm drawn to this field because I want to make a positive impact on children's lives and support families. I'm patient and calm, and also creative and imaginative. I believe that children learn best through play, so I love playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I keep parents informed about their child's day, whether through regular updates by text or phone call, or at pick-up, depending on their preference. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as directed by the parents. I have some high school education and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets.
