About Emily

I was in foster care. When I was around 5 years old my little brother was born. My parents were never there so I had to take on the responsibility to raise him. He is now 15 years old. I have always loved working with children. I would babysit the neighbors kids all the time. I started babysitting when I was about 12 years old. It was the best job ever. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I believe that open communication with parents is essential, so I provide written daily reports and regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of any age between 0 and 11. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and only speak English.
