Hi! My name is Emily and I love working with individuals with special needs. I'm a tutor for students with mild disabilities and a substitute teacher for students 18-22 with moderate/severe disabilities. I'm earning my teaching credential through CSUMB and I'm also employed by the Santa Cruz County Office of Education. I have some free time this summer (school is out of session)! So, I'm looking to see if anyone needs any extra help with tutoring or respite care with youth, adults or seniors (with or without special needs). I love care giving and developing relationships with people I wouldn't normally cross paths with. I have experience with autism spectrum disorder, and down syndrome. I speak English and Spanish and I love making learning fun and creative using games and the students' interest. I admittedly won't have much time once the school year begins, but I thought I would reach out just in case someone needs extra support for the next few weeks. Hope to meet you soon!
