I am a former educator with 10 years of experience teaching K-12 students and undergraduates. I also hold a Ph. D. in Developmental Psychology & have a comprehensive understanding of how kids learn. As I take a break from my research career, I want to provide custom tutoring for kids who need academic assistance and/or socio-emotional skills to help with learning. I am skilled in one-on-one tutoring for reading, math, science, and test prep (SAT, ACT, GRE, & others). In teaching 2nd grade, I excelled at helping students with reading challenges to gain mastery of crucial reading skills. I can also provide French language lessons (I am a fluent French speaker).
