About Emily

Hi there! I am an experienced & warm caregiver with many years of experience providing one-on-one childcare, teaching elementary school (2nd and 3rd grades), and working with children as I earned a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Northwestern University. While I am taking a break from my career, I am looking to provide childcare & tutoring services (to be honest, I m iss being around kids!). I work well with children of all ages. If you are looking for some academic support for your child, I am happy to use my teaching skills in all subjects to work with your child to set and achieve academic goals. I have lots of experience with guiding kids to find & grow confidence in their own abilities and apply that to any learning challenge!
