About Emily

My experience with children include over 2 years in a preschool setting working with ages 2-3. I have also been a full time nanny where I cared for a 3-year-old and an 18-month-old, and although it's now been over 5 years since I've worked with that family, they are still in my life today as I developed a great relationship with the kids and their parents. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and aspire to go back for my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Some of the jobs I've held since obtaining my degree have been a Program Coordinator for a domestic and sexual violence hotline, and most recently a Case Manager for youth transitioning into adulthood from the Foster Care system. I also am very fortunate to have two step kids, a teenager and a school aged kiddo! My partner accepted a new job, which is leading us to move. My favorite thing about working with young children is seeing their curiosity and natural self grow through learning and experience.
