About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I'm a current graduate student at Columbia. I moved to NYC from LA in 2021 and am very comfortable with getting around the city and have experience babysitting both in New York and beyond! I have 15 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I'm comfortable caring for up to five children at a time and have experience with children with special needs. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I believe in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I know how to communicate effectively with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR, and I'm always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge.
