About Emily

The family I was a nanny for lived across the street and I started babysitting occasionally when the oldest was just a baby. I went on to regularly watch the children, from infantry to the age of 5. I absolutely love children and I feel that with my coursework in early childhood education and child development I am able to understand children and how to approach any situation. I believe children need to feel respected and loved, and I always make sure to the best of my ability that the children I work with feel heard. I have a lot of experience with different age groups, and I volunteer as a child care aide at my church, primarily with 2 and 3-year-olds, but I am comfortable with any age. I am always happy to o the extra mile and help in anyway that I can. I believe that the families I work with should be able to rely on me for anything that may arise. I am also great with pets of all kinds and I will help out with them too and give them any special attention they may need.
