About Emily

Hello! Most of my experience has come from babysitting in the past since I was about 15 years old, I still continue to babysit sometimes when I travel home for a few family and friends. I have had experience with up to 6 children all under the age of 12. I have worked with twins from infant size to their current age of 3. I have been certified with CPR and First Aid when I was a lifeguard for the local YMCA where I live. There has been several incidents where I have needed to clean up blood and bandage cut wounds or scrapes, even burns. I have had to deal with sick (both throwing up & diarrhea) kids before, their health is superior to my own. I am very comfortable with babies and all of their needs to formula, breast milk, changing, bathing, etc. and special needs children. When it comes to kids misbehaving I use time out and the timer (I usually do the 5 to 10 minutes) - depending on the parents preference. Overall, I enjoy spending time with kids and I find it very enjoyable.
