About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily(Em) and I am 20 years old(almost 21) and am attending Texas Tech online majoring in English and minoring in Psychology. I have 3 years of childcare experience where I've worked at an elementary school being an assistant to a 1st grade teacher. My previous job I worked for the YMCA program and I cared for the afterschool elementary kids, I was leading activities, giving snack, helping with homework, and also cleaning after all the kids have left. Now I am currently working at Primrose which is a private school for younger kids and I am an assistant teacher for pre kindergarten kids. I am leading curriculum, helping with school work, feeding snack, cleaning, putting the kids to nap, and taking them outside. I love all the experience I have working with kids and it's helped me learn a lot about how to handle situations and ways to connect with different personalities of kids. I currently don't own my own vehicle, but occasionally borrow a vehicle from a family friend.
