About Emily

My name is Emily. I'm 21 years old. I love working with kids and have been gaining experience in childcare and children's education for eight years. My first job was babysitting. In 2019, I ran the Children's Reading desk at a library. In 2020, I was a camp counselor for kids ages 4-12. I was responsible for scheduling and creating activities. Building relationships with the kids was so rewarding. I spent the next year tutoring at an elementary school through AmeriCorps. I worked with 1-3 graders, providing interventions to improve their reading. I loved the connections I built with students. I then nannnied for a wondeful family for a year. I am now in school and looking to nanny again over the summer!
