Hello, my name is Emily. I am a full time college student who has been working with kids since I was 13. As the years have passed, I've worked and volunteered with kids in diverse backgrounds. Teaching and volunteering have been what has given me the experience that I have with kids and is often what I do when I have the chance. I enjoy working with kids because they are very curious humans. You get to learn new things everyday alongside them. I love to form bonds with the parents and most importantly with the kids! One thing I would like you to know is that communication is key. Please be clear with everything. If you have any accommodation for your kids, please communicate that. During my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my nieces as well as going on walks. I am bilingual. I speak both English and Spanish.

Emily has been great to work with. She served as our after school nanny for a period of time. She would pick up our kids at school, care for them all afternoon and then help get dinner started. She was extremely reliable. I always new well in advance of any conflicts or changes to her schedule. My kids really enjoyed spending time with her and she got to know their interests. Now Emily babysits for us for date nights. The kids are always happy to see her and she is always very punctual. I am happy to have found Emily on care.com and grateful for the care she has provided our children!
