About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I'm 22 years old and I'm moving to Golden this month after spending 3 and a half years in Summit County. I've been working as a lead preschool teacher for the last 2 years and I think it's time for me to go back to my roots as a nanny. In 2020, I started as a nanny for an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old. I was with the kids in the morning, preparing breakfast for them before dropping them off at school. Then I would pick them up, bring them to various after-school activities, and get them home for dinner. We often went to the park, to the pool, for a small hike, or to the museum, some of the kids' favorite places. I was accepted as part of the family and I'll never forget the warm feeling that experienced left with me. Since then, I have nannied infants and toddlers on their own or together in nanny shares. My experience as a teacher has made me capable of caring for multiple children at once, as well. As a caretaker, I value time spent outdoors with the children.
