About Emily

My name is Emily and I recently moved to Costa Mesa from New Orleans, where I worked as a nanny for the past 5 years. I have experience and a love for working with all ages. I began my career as a childcare worker at just 12 years old as a consistent babysitter for several families; but have continued as a teaching assistant, summer camp counselor, teacher naturalist and site director at an outdoor education camp, and most recently a full/part time nanny for two families. I have been a certified lifeguard (which includes extensive CPR and First Aid training) and can renew my First Aid/CPR certification upon request. I have my own car and am comfortable helping with transportation as well as pets, cooking, and other household chores. I love to read, play games and go outdoors, and am a very patient and loving person. I am committed to creating an environment where your children feel safe and loved, and have room to explore, grow, and have fun! I can't wait to meet you!
