About Emily

Hi there! I have worked for the past 10 years as a childcare provider and for the last 5 years as an outdoor educator. In this line of work, I typically take groups of children out into nature for full days of exploration, playing, and learning. I also have experience working as a nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, infant & toddler teacher, gymnastics instructor, and tutor! I've worked with infants and teenagers and everything in between and I truly love working with all ages. My special skills I can share with children include and are not limited to: -Storytelling -Wildcrafting (natural paints, cordage, carving, basket weaving, etc.) -Archery -Plant identification -Foraging -Animal tracking -Nature connection -Games on games on games -Music (I play guitar & flute, sing, and write music) -Cooking/baking -Drawing, painting, crafting -Simple gymnastics instruction Education/Certification: -15 ECE units -CPR -Diversity training
