About Emily

Hi families! I am a former career nanny (infancy through elementary) as well as an assistant principal and kindergarten teacher of 8 years with certifications in early childhood through elementary. Additionally I hold up to date CPR certifications, all PA clearances, and have multiple references. I am energetic, flexible, and dependable. I am transitioning back into the caregiving world beginning in August in my home or yours! I have a 12-month-old girl and am looking to secure a position where I can also include my daughter a few days a week for socialization. As both a mom and an educator, I value areas including: -Engaging children in activities and supporting them to reach cognitive, social, and gross/fine motor milestones as age appropriate -Developmentally appropriate play and socialization (e. g. sensory play, literacy, outside play, and more) -Feeding, diapering, supporting sleep schedule -Safety and nurturing children just as I would care for my child
