About Emily

I'm a Flagstaff local who loves to help my community in my spare time. While I do not have paid experience, I'm a natural caregiver with quite a bit of personal experience. I have cared for my mother and father through several surgeries and cancer treatment for both. My father passed from brain and lung cancer at the beginning of 2024 and for the year prior, I helped care for him intensively. I've learned that it truly takes a village when it comes to elder care, end of life care, or really any health trauma journey. My experience includes post-operative care (bilateral knee and hip replacements, double mastectomy and lymph removal, myxofibrosarcoma tumor removal), chemo therapy, radiation, neurologic and dementia symptoms, hospice care, drain maintenance, lyphedema care, weeping edema, bandage changes, wound care, medication management and administration, urinary catheter maintenance, fall risk care, bed bound care, training of other caregivers, meal prep, and lots of companionship.
