About Emily

Hi everyone! I am offering my services as backup nanny/family assistant support. I am a highly qualified childcare provider and birth professional with two decades of experience and education. I've worked as a nanny, family assistant, on-call babysitter, daycare teacher, mother's helper, and an elementary substitute teacher. I am also a postpartum doula in training, certified lactation counselor, Trevor Project volunteer, and yoga instructor specializing in prenatal and trauma-informed yoga. The spectrum of my work ranges from pregnancy through to school-age children and my diverse background lends me the ability to anticipate the needs of a family and a household with little direction. I understand how challenging it can be to find reliable backup nanny support, but I also know how very needed it is to prevent burnout in your amazing nannies! I thrive in this role because I know how to come into a home and support the entire family system and I genuinely enjoy the work that I do.
