About Emily

Hi My name is Emily and I am in my last year of my PhD program at UC Davis. I have grown up working with kids and have experience with a wide variety of ages. I started at a young age assisting my mom in her pre-school class of 3 and 4-year-olds during the summers. In undergrad I babysat for a family for 3 years with children who ranged in age from 7-12. I was a nanny for a year during my time off between undergrad and grad school starting when the little girl was 3 months old. I also was a short term travel nanny for a week in 2019 and cared for a 6-month-old baby in Haiti. More recently I spent the summer providing transportation and supervision at swim lessons for a 5-year-old. Also, my graduate work focuses on nutrition and child development. Right now I am finishing up my dissertation so I am primarily available for babysitting jobs or school pick up.
