About Emily

As a friendly and approachable childcare provider with 8 years of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing and educating children. My journey began with caring for my two younger sisters, fulfilling various professional babysitting roles, both of which solidified my desire to positively impact young lives. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of various ages. My educational background includes a BS in Psychology and coursework in early childhood education and child development. I have 5 years of experience substituting in PreK-8th grade classrooms and as a swim instructor. I also completed CPR and First Aid training. I believe in open communication with parents to discuss their child's day or any concerns. From board games and crafts to educational activities, I enjoy a variety of games that promote learning and fun. Furthermore, I'm happy to assist with carpooling and light housekeeping.
