I have experience with the effects of dementia within my own family and know that it takes a heavy toll on those involved. I would love the opportunity to assist in small ways to lessen the difficulties for another family. I have worked one job in the past with an elderly woman, and I currently help another elderly woman with dementia at my church. I am responsible for picking her up for church in the mornings and dropping her back off, finding anything she may lose in the process, and just giving her someone to speak to. I love hearing all of the stories and advice given!
