About Emily

I have years of experience working with children. I always knew I wanted to teach and help kids grown and learn. Prior to teaching I nannied for a few families and baby sat for many others. I have prior experience working in schools to my current 2 years as a teacher. I have working in a variety of school setting including Montessori, public, and private. I have expertise working with all age groups with all levels of abilities. As a kid I was the kid that needed that extra help and DID NOT WANT IT TO BE MOM AND DAD. I tried a variety of tutoring places and nothing ever felt comfortable to me. I want to create that comfortable and supportive learning environment for your child. On top of my degree in elementary education I also have my graduate certificate in early childhood education. I am exited to get to know you and hopefully work with you with and your child!
