About Emilee

Hello! My name is Emilee, & I am a teacher for Minot Public Schools. I currently teach first grade and previously taught kindergarten. I was a nanny for 6 years while in high school and college before my teaching career started. I am currently looking to help babysit or tutor, and I could also run errands, etc. I have a background check through MPS, but also on the Care. com website. Often times I look for ways to work learning into our day when I babysit. Generally we do this through playing games, building forts, reading books, drawing/coloring, going outside, etc. I try not to let kids sit in front of a TV for hours on end, and most times limit it to one movie or one TV show (unless otherwise instructed by the parent/guardian). If you are looking for a tutor, I can tutor in reading & Math grades preschool-Third. I have an endless supply of teaching materials and would be happy to help in either area! I currently Tutor small groups at school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
