About Emerson

Hello! My name is Emmy. I'm 18 years old and began paid childcare a couple months ago, but that doesn't mean I am inexperienced with caring for little ones! As the oldest of my siblings, I have been taking care of my two younger sisters since they were babies, they are now 6 and 8. I am also currently nannying for another family. I am someone who is patient, creative, and warm. I believe in creating a safe space where children can thrive, learn, grow, and have fun. I love hide and seek, board games, crafts, video games, music, coloring, basically anything creative and fun! I know how important it is for parents to know how their little ones are doing, and I ensure regular updates to parents about their child's day using their preferred method of contact. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I'm confident in my ability to maintain a structured environment while still encouraging independence. I'm great at sticking to a schedule or creating one based on your child's needs.
