Aloha! New to Care. com but not new to providing care! A little about myself: I've always wanted to pursue work that gives back to my community here in Hawaii, and I began my clinical journey as a Registered Behavior Technician working with special needs children. From there, I transitioned into in-home healthcare and eventually took the journey now currently working full time as a nurse assistant and med technician. I found a profound love for working in the healthcare system, and am a firm believer that the CARE in healthcare is just as important as the clinical side. I'm actively working towards becoming a paramedic as well as being currently in schooling for both my CCMA and CNA (whew)! I have experience in both standby assist ambulation and bedbound care. I especially love providing compassionate end of life care or working with advanced dementia patients. It's an absolute honor. Thank you for reading and looking forwards to working with you!
