About Emara

My name is Emara, I'm a PA-certified pre-K-5 teacher with many years of experience as a full-time nanny and Montessori teacher. I've worked as a caregiver for kids aged 6 months to middle school, and everything in between! My philosophy as a nanny is focused on creating connections, fostering kids' interests, and developing routines that work for them! My go-to phrases with kids will always be, 'Tell me more!' and 'How could we solve this together?' When working with babies, I value meaningful sensory and linguistic engagement that connects them to the world around them. I have experience with everything from wake-up to bedtime routines and am just as comfortable with activities at home as trips to the library and picnics at the playground. I'm happy to provide references from the families I've worked with! I'm searching for a long-term position beginning in September, and I'm also open to weekend babysitting opportunities.
