About Elyssa

My name is Elyssa, I am a very caring Early Childhood Educator with a license to teach Pre-K-2nd graders in Massachusetts. I have been working with young children since 2012; as an after school teacher, camp counselor, lifeguard, and student teacher. I have had classroom experience in preschool through 2nd grade classrooms. My passion for working with young children began when I was a child helping my parents take care of my little sister. I have always had the innate tendency to take care of others from a very young age. As a young child I enjoyed exploring the outdoors, creating art, dancing to music, dressing up, and playing soccer. Now as an adult, I enjoy being outside in nature, creating art, playing guitar, singing, and cooking. My Early Childhood Education degree, experience with young children, and First aid/ CPR training make me an excellent caretaker and teacher. I am comfortable with pets as I have a dog. I look forward to learning more about you and your family!
