My name is Elyssa C. I am 25 years old I am a mom to a 2-year-old boy. My career as a caregiver started in 2016 as just a family caregiver to my elderly grandmother with dementia. After she passed on In 2022 I felt the need to continue on the same journey as I felt strongly about taking care of others how I did my own family as I know how much of a toll it can take on people when they have to care for someone they love. In 2022 I started as a PCA doing homecare I went on maternity leave and was sad to do so as I grew an attachment to the families I had been with for months I knew my calling was to be a caregiver. In 2023 I decided to go to school I obtained my CNA license and I am now going back to school to obtain my Advanced CNA License as well as certifications In phlebotomy and EKG.
