Hello! My name is Elyse and I am seeking one time/ flexible sitting jobs. I am currently working at the Safari Park part time and as a substitute instructional aide/paraeducator on my days off. It's not easy to afford living in San Diego so I am trying to fill my free time and work as much as I can so I can start building my savings back up. Some of my experience includes: I babysat a lot growing up, especially when my twin sisters were born when I was 12. At 19, I decided to work for kids with special needs for a year. I was a substitute paraeducator with a permanent position helping children from 3rd-8th grade on the Autism spectrum. Some tasks I had to perform were: de-escalating behaviors, teaching necessary life skills, and helping create unique learning strategies. I currently work as a substitute instructional aide/paraeducator.
