I am an energetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate caregiver. My love for childcare began at a very young age and I began babysitting as a teenager. This focus on child development led me to my career in education. I am currently a licensed Special Education teacher (Mild/Moderate Special Needs Pre-K-8) and am currently employed as a Special Education teacher and case manager. I have training in and experience working with students with diverse needs (i. e. ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders, and other physical or cognitive disabilities) My early childhood background also supports my care when responsible for infants and toddlers. With school aged children, I assist in completing homework and also provide private tutoring. I enjoy creating new, exciting, and educational activities for children outdoors as well as inside the home. My goal is to allow the parent and child to feel safe, and have fun, by creating a calming transition from parent to care giver.
